Jun 24, 2010 - Mastersingers Assemble in Vilnius

Forty-six members of Mastersingers USA, along with 24 family members, assembled at the Artis Centrum Hotel in Vilnius, Lithuania today. The skies were cloudy and threatening rain, but spirits were high, as acquaintances were formed or renewed, and everyone looked forward to 12 days of singing and exploration in a part of the world that is unfamiliar to nearly everyone in the group. We had our first rehearsal this evening, preparing for our first concert on Saturday evening. Look to this site for daily reports (and more detail) of our unfolding adventure.
